It's Been a Year of Journeys for this Non-Stop Travel Nurse
This traveling nurse packs a lot into every moment: zipping across the country and documenting her journey as she goes.
Every year we like to feature a traveler who jumps right in to their new freewheeling lifestyle. Fortunately, Elizabeth S., a Med-Surg RN and a true “Jersey girl” at heart, was kind enough to share her 2018 story with us. Elizabeth’s first assignment with our travel nursing agency was in Virginia. Elizabeth didn’t just travel TO her assignment, she kept on traveling once she got there! On her days off, Elizabeth planned out her sightseeing with whatever time she had available.
“Live Your Passion… Don’t Just Dream About It” ~ Elizabeth S.
Visited the Nurses’ Memorial at Arlington Cemetery.
Tasted wine at Rosemont Vineyard in Virginia on the 4th of July.
Toured the wall art downtown in Washington DC.
Explored Richmond, Virginia's State Capital building and Botanical Gardens.
Went SKYDIVING!
Road Trip to The West Coast
Elizabeth’s second assignment was in Nevada, so she and her boyfriend
packed up the car and drove across the country. They made as many stops as they could to see all the sights -- they ended up hitting 10 states in 3.5 days!
“The views while driving were breathtaking. I can’t wait to explore each of the states on their own some day.”
Elizabeth has already made friends with other travelers at her new
travel nursing assignment in Nevada, and has made plans to adventure together from hiking to snowboarding. “I’m excited for the next three months!”
