RN and Her Family Choose Travel to Find a Forever Home
Like so many nurses, Harmony started traveling during the Covid-19 pandemic, and found it was a perfect fit!
Harmony kicked off her travel career relatively close to home in Maryland
Harmony and her husband are researching possible areas to make a forever home with a growing family.
Travel nursing jobs are a great way to get the feel of a new locale – while helping to save lives during a
dire pandemic. For Harmony, traveling was the best of both worlds: exploration and meaningful work!
Start Close to Home, Then Expand Your Horizons
Among their many adventures together, Harmony and Ian now have the opportunity to explore places they might never have
visited. Harmony makes sure to tell everyone they meet that Maryland has a lot to offer – there are mountain hikes to
the west, easy beach vibes to the east, peaceful country living, and vibrant city life. Traveling also allows this
mobile RN to maintain a flexible schedule. Harmony and Ian have even traveled to Greece between assignments!
Harmony loves her recruiter, Annie, who has always been helpful in answering any and all questions – and comforting any
fears! Harmony plans to continue traveling to new states. She hopes to eventually visit the West Coast after traveling
to New England.
Perseverance
As a travel nurse, Harmony knows there are hard times. But the experiences Harmony has each and every day with her
family while being a nurse, are undeniably priceless. COVID will hopefully pass and be a distant memory, but Harmony
continues to aspire to make the best of each shift and spend her off days enjoying the moments she can with her loved
ones.
A few words from Harmony’s recruiter:
“I really enjoy working with Harmony. She is very professional – and very sweet!”
