Travel Nurse on her wedding day

Travel Nurse Didn't Let COVID Bring Down Her Wedding Day!

Travel nurse changes wedding day plans and gets married in her living room!
Jennifer M., is a traveling Med-Surg/Tele RN who, like many others, had to change her wedding plans due to COVID-19. However, this did not stop Jennifer from marrying the man of her dreams. They didn't want to wait another moment to start their future life together ... so Jennifer wore her wedding dress in her living room and called it a day! Even though it is not what they had planned, Jennifer still claims it was the best day ever!
This is how she explained her perfect day to her recruiter, Kristin:
"So we did this super last minute. In our house with less than 20 people. We zoomed my parents -- because they decided not to come because of COVID. However, we are still going to Arkansas this month to have our "real" wedding photos taken in the mountains! I told my supervisor that our December reception was cancelled, so she put me on the schedule for my new days off. My best friend came into town for five days for a vacation, and we got married while she was here. I wanted my friend to sign our marriage license -- since my family couldn't be here -- and it worked out perfectly! Everyone was gone by 7:30pm, and the house was cleaned up by 9pm! It was great!"

A little about Jennifer and Matt:

Jennifer and Matt, an accountant, met when she was on assignment in Oklahoma back in Oct of 2019. He was in her CrossFit group at the gym she joined. She has worked travel nursing jobs in Maryland, Virginia, Oklahoma, Alabama and now back to Oklahoma. She now says she will stay in the South/Midwest area so she is never too far from her love... but says she will never stop traveling!
