Honoring our Healthcare Heroes on the Front Lines - Kari

During the current healthcare crisis, travel nursing has been instrumental in filling regional staffing gaps. Employers rely on these versatile RNs who can hit the ground running -- even when their circumstances are totally new. These are just a few of the amazing traveler stories our recruiters have shared with us that we'll be honoring!

First up: Kari G, who was brought to our attention by Annie W., Kari's Recruiter

Kari is an ICU nurse who has worked assignments from North Carolina to Texas. On top of providing very demanding daily patient care, Kari has also had to deal with shifting employment situations during the pandemic. Through it all she showed flexibility and determination and did what she had to do to get herself to her next assignment. Seamlessly shifting gears, she packed up her bags and moved across the country, twice! Partly for job security -- but also so she could continue to care for patients in dire need. And she did it all with a smile on her face. I really am proud to be working with such an incredible person.

To be successful in any career, sometimes you just have to GRIND. Annie didn’t want to deliver tough news to Kari about assignment changes, but they both recognized that sometimes ‘that's how it is” and worked together to get Kari a new assignment as quickly as possible.
