American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a fast-paced 24-bed telemetry unit requiring 1 year of travel experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Fast-paced 24-bed telemetry unit that serves as an extension of the Emergency Room
• Short-stay patient population with focus on hypertensive urgency, stroke work-ups, titratable cardiac drips, acute infections, cardiac work-ups, and ESRD
• 13-week assignment with a 06:45-19:15 shift schedule
• 36-48 hour contracts acceptable
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required per unit need

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Current license and primary source verification (Nursys) required within 30 days prior to start

• Deliver compassionate, clinically strong care to a short-stay observation population
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
• Discuss extension opportunities with management approximately 45 days before assignment end date
