American Traveler is hiring a Respiratory Care Services Manager for an inpatient acute care setting, requiring an NBRT credential and NC/compact RRT license in hand.

• Inpatient acute care setting within the Department of Respiratory Care Services
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Pediatric patient population experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RRT license in hand
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC
• Board certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Peds/NICU experience preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• 1 supervisory reference from within the last year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assist in administering, directing, and coordinating departmental activities to meet patient and staff needs
• Coordinate budget preparation and compile operational reports and analyses
• Participate in developing professional standards and quality assurance programs, including teaching in-service education classes
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, transfers, and vacation scheduling
• Plan and conduct staff meetings to ensure policy compliance and communicate updates
• Serve as liaison with medical and administrative staff
• Attend workshops and professional meetings to stay current on techniques and technology
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
