Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Home Health RN requiring at least 2 years of home health experience, prior travel nursing experience, and an active TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Home health setting providing intermittent visits to patients in their homes
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Provides nursing assessments, medication management, wound care, disease management, and patient education
• Uses equipment such as wound vacs, IV pumps, nephrostomy tubes, tracheostomy supplies, PICC line supplies, port access supplies, Foley catheters, feeding tubes, and ostomy supplies
• Visits typically last 30-45 minutes, with admission visits lasting 1 hour or more
• Does not remain in the home during infusion administration
• Expected to complete 6 patient units of productivity per 8-hour day
• Assigned to a defined territory rather than a large geographic area
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional weekends possible
• No on-call responsibilities required
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active TN RN license or compact license required at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of home health nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Level III trauma experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Reliable personal vehicle required for travel between patient visits

• Radius rule of 75 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
