Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN with a minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel nursing experience, and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Home health setting providing intermittent visits within assigned patient territories
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Performs nursing assessments, medication management, wound care, disease management, and patient education
• Uses equipment such as wound vacs, IV pumps, nephrostomy tubes, tracheostomy supplies, PICC line supplies, port access supplies, Foley catheters, feeding tubes, and ostomy supplies
• Visits typically last 30-45 minutes, with admission visits lasting 1 hour or more
• Expectation of completing 6 patient units of productivity per 8-hour day
• Does not provide in-home infusion services
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• No weekend or on-call requirements, though occasional weekend work is possible
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Level III trauma experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Reliable personal vehicle required
