American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Inpatient Acute Rehab position requiring an active MI license and 2 years of acute rehab experience.

Details

• Inpatient Acute Rehab unit within a hospital setting
• Provides rehabilitation care for acutely ill patients across the life span with unstable medical conditions
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission
• Compact license not accepted
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum 2 years acute rehab experience required

Additional Information

• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Utilizes clinical judgment to assess, monitor, and manage patient conditions and prevent complications
• Reports to shift Team Leader and is accountable to the Department Manager
• Uses SBAR and interdisciplinary communication for effective collaboration
• Facility enforces a strict attendance policy allowing no more than 3 absences or late arrivals over 20 minutes
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
• Candidates residing within a 35 mile radius are considered local travelers with adjusted travel rates
