American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Flex Pool position requiring HI licensure and float coverage across multiple units.

Details

• Flex RN floating between various medical and surgical units, including Medical, Laulima (Surgical Acute), and Cardiovascular units
• Medical unit has 77 beds with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 (days/eves) and 1:8 (nights)
• Laulima unit has 18 beds with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Cardiovascular unit has 15 beds with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Ratios may vary due to unexpected staffing needs
• 12-hour night shifts (1845-0715), scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation
• No guaranteed hours
• Uses Meditech and EPIC EMR systems, along with Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tube equipment

Requirements

• Active HI RN license required by start of assignment
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC certifications preferred
• 2-10 years of nursing experience required
• Documented proof of immunity required; medical and religious exemptions will not be accepted

• Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment the following Friday
