American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) position requiring CVOR experience and active WA/Compact RN licensure.

Details

• Surgery unit setting within a hospital
• 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, day/evening rotation from 0630-1900
• Call requirements apply
• Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation

Requirements

• Active WA State or Compact RN license required
• CVOR experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must adhere to facility policies and unit-specific standards of practice
• Must function within the Washington Nurse Practice Act guidelines

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care using the nursing process and unit standards
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and respond appropriately
• Delegate and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Educate patients and families on relevant health information
• Collaborate and communicate with all members of the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment per hospital and unit policies
