American Traveler is hiring an RN - IV Therapy for an outpatient infusion center role requiring a GA or compact license and strong IV initiation and port management skills.

Details

• Outpatient ambulatory infusion center setting
• Treats patients with MS, Crohn's, IBS, RA, lupus, sarcoidosis, vasculitis, genetic disorders, ITTP, autoimmune conditions, and endocrine, nephrology, and pulmonary infusion needs
• Performs IV initiation, maintenance, implanted port management, and hypersensitivity management
• 4x10-hour AM shifts totaling 40 hours per week
• 30-minute meal break included in shift
• No on-call requirements
• Flexibility required to rotate to other non-oncology sites maintaining the same standards of care

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license in hand
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of relevant experience required
• Strong IV initiation, maintenance, and implanted port skills preferred
• Excellent customer service skills required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted unless the radius rule is waived
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday request is permitted per assignment
• Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
