American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a critical access hospital, requiring proficiency in Periop, Endo, and Recovery specialties with a VT or compact RN license.

Details

• Outpatient setting covering Periop, Endoscopy, and Recovery departments at a critical access hospital
• 10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Thursday with occasional Fridays when on call
• Periop starts at 6:00 AM, Endo at 6:30 AM, and Recovery at 8:00 AM
• Every 5th weekend and holidays required as needed, typically on a rotating basis
• On-call required one night per week and every 5th weekend
• Compact RN license accepted

Requirements

• Active VT RN license or compact license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification through the American Heart Association
• 2+ years of current outpatient PACU experience required
• Periop experience required
• Endoscopy experience required
• Must be able to start and maintain IV lines
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Small critical access facility experience preferred
• Must have own vehicle
• Skills checklist required for PACU (current within 1 year)
• Skills checklist required for Endoscopy (current within 1 year)
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required

Additional Information

• Provide care across Periop, Endoscopy, and Recovery units, requiring high proficiency in each specialty
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered
