American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Antepartum unit position requiring 2 years of labor and delivery experience and a KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 10-bed Antepartum unit caring for high-risk pregnancy complications such as pre-eclampsia and preterm labor
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
• Floating to Labor & Delivery required
• OB experience preferred

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact) required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with interdisciplinary care team
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures
• Computer systems proficiency or ability to be trained

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination for high-risk antepartum patients
• Facilitate patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination with Case Management
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures monitoring
• Delegate and oversee care tasks performed by other team members
• Promote a positive, healing environment through evidence-based nursing practice
