American Traveler is hiring an RN - Telemetry for a combined Med/Surg, Telemetry, and PCU unit requiring 3+ years of relevant experience and comfort working across all three specialties.

Details

• Combined Med/Surg, Telemetry, and PCU unit in a small, rural 25-bed hospital
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric
• RN/patient ratio of 5:1, with higher acuity PCU patients at 3:1 or 4:1
• Uses Medhost EMR system
• 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, 36 hrs/week
• Every-other-weekend requirement with holidays as needed
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
• 3+ years of PCU, Med/Surg, and Telemetry experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Medhost EMR experience required
• Basic dysrhythmia test required in profile
• Rural or small facility experience highly preferred
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Must be able to work independently and adapt quickly to a new environment

Additional Information

• Provide cardiac monitoring and comprehensive care across Med/Surg, Telemetry, and PCU patient populations
• Must be comfortable working across all three specialties within this unit
• Personal scrubs of any color permitted
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be approved for this 13-week assignment, and must be submitted prior to offer
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet experience requirements
