American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring OR travel and robotics experience at a Level 3 Trauma Center.

Details

• Surgery unit at a Level 3 Trauma Center
• Case types include ortho, general, robotic, spine, ENT, and gyn procedures
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts starting between 0615 and 0700
• Weekday call coverage in absence of core staff
• Weekend call required on average 3-4 weekends per 12-week period, including Saturdays, Sundays, and some Fridays
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Active RN license (Iowa or Compact)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Prior travel experience in OR required
• Robotics experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Mandatory reporter status required
• Valid driver's license required
• Supervisory reference/performance evaluation from within the last two years required

Additional Information

• Provide professional/clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary surgical team
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Prior UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) cannot work travel assignments in another market within 12 months of separation
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)
• Limited time-off requests permitted during peak holiday periods
