Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a PACU position requiring 18 months of PACU experience and an active GA or Compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Post Anesthesia Care Unit setting in a hospital environment
• PM shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
• Weekend shift required: 1x 12-hour PM shift (7p-7a)
• On-call required: 2 weeknights per month, 11pm-7:30am

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license in hand
• 18 months of PACU experience required
• CVOR RN candidates require 18 months full-time CVOR experience of similar acuity within the last 3 years, with strong endovascular experience and proficiency (rated 3-4) in cardiac and vascular procedures

Additional Information

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Strict RTO policy: maximum of 5 days off if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
