American Traveler is hiring a Tele/Ambulatory Care RN for a night shift assignment requiring CA RN licensure and 2 years of telemetry and ACU/PACU experience.

Details

• Ambulatory Care unit in an acute care hospital setting
• Provides direct patient care, education, and care coordination for telemetry and ambulatory care patients
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-07:30 on a rotating schedule
• Weekend rotation required with no on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience and ACU/PACU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required

• Assess, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate holistic nursing care tailored to psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors
• Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members through effective communication
• Facilitate transitions of care within an acute care setting
• Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at local rate
• Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
