American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with active MA licensure and at least 5 years of RN experience to join a high-volume cardiac catheterization lab.

Details

• 13-week contract with shifts from 07:00-19:30
• Work in the MGH Cath Lab, featuring 7 procedure rooms and a hybrid OR, all upgraded within the past 1-5 years
• 12-bay peri-procedural space used for patient prep and recovery
• Lab averages over 30 cases per day, ranging from outpatient RHC and stable coronary angiograms to complex coronary, structural, and vascular interventions
• Epic used for primary charting; Siemens Sensis system used for hemodynamic measurements
• Supports either 3x12-hour or 4x10-hour shift schedules
• Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call possible, though no weekend or holiday shifts are worked
• Typical 13-week contract includes 1-2 weeknight call shifts and possibly one weekend call

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
• BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
• 2+ years of ICU experience preferred
• 1+ years of Cath Lab RN experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Flu vaccine required with no medical or religious exemptions allowed

• Serve as a key member of the patient care team, collaborating with staff to ensure continuity of care
• Promote patient- and family-focused care in all interactions
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of MGH in Boston
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers may be considered
