American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CTICU) position requiring an active MA RN license and 2+ years of CT/CVICU experience at a Level 1 trauma facility.

Details

• Work in the CTICU (cardiothoracic intensive care unit), a high-acuity unit providing 24-hour monitoring and advanced care for patients recovering from complex heart, lung, and vascular surgeries or dealing with severe cardiac/respiratory conditions
• 12-hour rotating shifts covering days and nights
• 36 hours per week over a 26-week assignment
• Level 1 trauma center setting
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2-3 years of RN experience with at least 2 years in CT/CVICU required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing

Additional Information

• Provide advanced monitoring and critical care to post-surgical and critically ill cardiac and respiratory patients
• Weekly orientation provided
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Required vaccinations: COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine (medical exemptions allowed)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted
• Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning
