American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ER RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 2 years of experience and MO/KS or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Pediatric Emergency Department setting
• 13-week assignment length
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Floating required between the main campus and a sister hospital in Overland Park, KS, approximately 12 miles away
• Weekend and holiday coverage required to fill core staffing gaps
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license in Missouri and Kansas, or a compact license, required (Kansas license may be pending with proof of application for main campus placement)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Only AHA-issued BLS/PALS certifications accepted; RQI certifications not accepted
• Must pass a medication/dosage test with 100% accuracy within 3 attempts during the first week
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
• Two supervisor-level professional references completed within the last 12 months required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care to pediatric patients
• Training provided with orientation expected to be complete by the second week of October
• Facility is a smoke-free and nicotine-free campus, and candidates will be tested for nicotine
