Description

American Traveler is hiring a Neuro ICU RN requiring a VA or compact license and 2 years of experience to provide critical care to neurological patients on 12-hour night shifts.

Details

• Neuro ICU setting with 18 beds
• Patient ratios of 1:2, flexing up or down based on acuity
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Every other weekend required
• May float to the Neuro IMC unit

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to neurological ICU patients
• Complete 2 shifts of floor orientation, with additional shifts if needed
• Holiday coverage required for 1 major and 1 minor holiday, every other holiday
• Scrub requirements: navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops, and solid navy blue or solid white jackets
