American Traveler is hiring an RN for an SSSU/PACU position requiring strong Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy and Infusion skills.

Details

• Rotates through the Outpatient Services area including Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, and Pre-operative Clinic
• Provides conscious sedation support for special hospital procedures
• 4x10 Day Shift schedule with variable hours
• Shared on-call rotation required

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years SSSU/PACU/Pre/Post experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong skills in Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion required

Additional Information

• Perform peri-operative nursing assessment, education, and care
• Recognize and respond to post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
• Float across Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, PACU, and Pre-operative Clinic as needed
