American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a level 2 trauma teaching hospital, requiring a NY RN license and at least 2 years of cath lab procedure experience.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting within a 349-bed acute care teaching hospital, level 2 trauma center
• Assists with admissions, recovery, and discharge for cath lab procedures
• Participates in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including complex PCI
• Duties include IV therapy, medication administration, triage, wound cleaning, phlebotomy, EKGs, vital signs, cardiac monitoring, and restraint application
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Scheduled shift 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• On-call availability preferred

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab procedure experience required
• Cath lab experience with admission, recovery, and discharge preferred
• Cath & EP pre/post experience preferred
• Two professional references from a manager or above, rated standard or above average, from within the past year in current discipline/specialty
• Ability to take call preferred
