Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room to scrub orthopedic cases including total joint and spine procedures, requiring VA or compact RN license and prior OR experience.

Details

• Operating room setting performing 40-60 cases per day
• Scrubs orthopedic cases including total joint procedures (hips, knees, shoulders) and orthopedic spine cases
• Uses Epic EMR
• Scheduled shifts from 0700-1730
• No weekend or holiday requirements beyond one major holiday
• No floating required
• Call requirement of 2-3 twelve-hour call shifts within a six-week period

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
• Must be able to start IVs

Additional Information

• One week of floor orientation provided
• Maroon scrubs provided
• One major holiday coverage required
