American Traveler is hiring an experienced Pediatric PACU RN with OR licensure and pediatric perianesthesia experience for a busy children's hospital.

Details

• Pediatric PACU providing pre and postoperative care to patients from birth to 18 years, with some patients up to age 25 based on diagnosis
• Supports a wide range of surgical specialties including cardiothoracic, dental, dermatology, endoscopy, gastroenterology, general surgery, hematology/oncology, nephrology, neurology, OB/GYN, oncology, ophthalmic, oral/maxillofacial, organ transplant, orthopedic, otolaryngology, plastics, podiatry, and urology
• Day shift schedule with variable 3x12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-8:30 PM
• Possible on-call requirements on weekends and nights
• May be required to float to a nearby affiliate hospital

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Active OR (Operating Room) RN license required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Proof of COVID vaccination required with no exemptions accepted

Additional Information

• Deliver pre and postoperative care to pediatric surgical patients across a broad range of specialties
• Must be available to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays
• Floating to an affiliate hospital may be required; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mile radius restriction
• Requested time off must be submitted with the application and cannot exceed 2 weeks
• Former staff must have a 6-month gap before returning as a traveler
