American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Nurse Lead for a Labor and Delivery unit requiring charge nurse and supervisory experience along with advanced fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital featuring a Level III NICU and county-designated trauma center
• Night shift schedule, 3x12s, 1800-0630, no set schedule/rotating
• No on-call requirements
• Requires EPIC experience

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification within the last 2 years required
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience required
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and related experience required

Additional Information

• Provides unit-based leadership in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff
• Supervises and directs nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory judgment
• Ensures cost-effective, professional patient care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
• Participates in patient care as needed and rounds to assess patient care needs
• Fosters a culturally sensitive, patient and family-centered care environment
• Develops strategies with leadership to improve customer satisfaction and quality of care
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Candidates with a prior license disciplinary action will not be considered
