Description

American Traveler is hiring an LPN for a Rheumatology outpatient clinic requiring 1+ year of ambulatory clinic experience and ambulatory EPIC proficiency.

Details

• Ambulatory clinic setting within a Rheumatology department
• Clinic hours of operation are 8:00am to 5:00pm
• 8-hour day shift schedule, 40 hours per week
• No weekend rotation, on-call requirements, or holiday coverage required
• May occasionally float within the clinic
• Support staff includes MA/CA, LPN, RN, MD, and APP, with in-house lab and radiology services

Requirements

• Current LPN license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Completion of an accredited nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
• Minimum 1 year of ambulatory clinic experience required
• Rheumatology experience required
• Experience rooming patients in an ambulatory setting
• Ambulatory EPIC charting experience required
• First-time travelers considered only if they have prior ambulatory clinic experience

• Responsibilities include rooming patients and supporting clinical workflow within the Rheumatology clinic
• Orientation is dependent on specialty
• Scrub color requirement is navy blue for RN/LPN staff

• Time off requests require supervisor approval
• Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Permanent staff must wait one full year before returning as a traveler
• Facility is known for being very traveler-friendly and frequently renews travel contracts
