Description

American Traveler is seeking a Stepdown RN with PCU/telemetry experience and an Ohio or compact RN license for a hospital step-down unit assignment.

Details

• Work in the HVTI-Stepdown unit of a hospital setting
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and the ED to care for the same patient population
• Day/Night rotating shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet the operational needs of the facility

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty required
• PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required for consideration
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable score

Additional Information

• Provide step-down level nursing care to a cardiac/telemetry patient population
• Required to work every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• Previous permanent employees cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their last end date
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
