Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for a 13-week Operating Room assignment requiring at least 3 years of OR experience and TX or compact RN licensure.

Details

• 6-operating room unit providing a wide range of surgical services including general surgery, bariatrics, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and select vascular cases
• Shift hours are 06:30-15:00
• 13-week assignment length
• On-call obligation required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 3 years of operating room experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process as RN Circulator
• Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies
• Verify patient identity and procedure prior to surgery
• Maintain a safe and sterile operating room environment
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure efficient procedures
• Monitor patients during surgery and document care accurately
• Serve as a key advocate for patient safety throughout the surgical process
• Accepts local candidates, subject to a radius rule that may affect pay rate
