American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring 2 years of CVOR experience with both scrub and circulate skills.

Details

• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
• 10-hour day shifts with varied start times, 4 shifts per week
• Call required
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with travelers floated first, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required, with driver's license address matching BON address
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Must have both scrub and circulate experience
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred

Additional Information

• Travelers are welcomed into the units and expected to function as core staff
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of the facility, strictly enforced, and cannot own or cosign property within that radius
• No block scheduling requests accepted
• Candidates must secure full-time housing in the area rather than commuting from a distant home
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/ID
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documents
