American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 12-hour night shift position requiring strong telemetry and rapid response experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting on a mixed high-acuity Med/Surg-Tele unit
• 1:6 patient ratio
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope of practice
• Meditech charting system used
• No block scheduling accommodated

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 1:6 patient ratio experience required
• Rapid Response team experience required
• Total joints experience required
• Strong telemetry experience required

Additional Information

• Care for a mixed, high-acuity patient population on the Med/Surg-Tele unit
• Any scrub color accepted
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• Mandatory 5-shift clinical orientation week required (36-40 hours)
• Approximately 4 hours of onboarding modules must be completed prior to start date
• No RTO permitted during the first or last week of the assignment
• No RTO allowed 11/25-11/27, 12/24-12/25, and 12/31-1/1
• Must reside more than 30 miles from the facility
• Holiday coverage required for the winter holiday season at an increased bill rate
