Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for the Operating Room, requiring at least 3 years of OR experience and TX or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a 6-operating room unit supporting a wide range of surgical services
• Surgical specialties include general surgery, bariatrics, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and select vascular cases
• Day shift schedule from 06:30 to 15:00
• 13-week assignment length
• On-call obligation required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (must be AHA)
• Minimum of 3 years of operating room experience required
• Current license and primary source verification (Nursys) required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process as the RN Circulator
• Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies
• Verify patient identity and procedure prior to surgery
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment throughout procedures
• Monitor patients during surgery and document care accurately
• Serve as a key patient safety advocate throughout the surgical process
• Radius rule applies, with local candidates accepted at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
