Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation position requiring a CA RN license and at least 2 years of rehab or inpatient experience.

Details

• Work in a 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital with all-private rooms and a current census of 35
• Care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, trauma, and orthopedic injuries, ages 18+
• Patient population includes isolation patients, tracheostomy care, extensive wound care, and use of restraints
• Typical patient stay is approximately 12 days
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Uses Cerner EHR system
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No float requirements

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of rehab or inpatient setting experience required
• Closed-toed shoes required
• Short, natural nails required (no acrylic)

Additional Information

• Provide specialized rehabilitative nursing care to patients recovering from serious injuries and illnesses
• Navy blue scrubs preferred for RNs, though not mandatory
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full-time
