Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical Oncology unit requiring oncology background, telemetry experience, and 2 years of current nursing experience.

Details

• Adult Medical Oncology unit specializing in Bone Marrow Transplant, CAR-T, Hematologic and Solid Tumor Malignancies
• Patient population includes adult oncology and acute care telemetry patients
• Day shift 12-hour schedule, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Chemo is administered on the unit, but travel RNs are not required to administer it
• Preferred experience with Alaris pumps and EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Oncology background required
• Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
• 1-2 prior travel assignments required
• Chemo certification preferred
• Experience at a comparable facility size required (500+ bed count for this facility)

Additional Information

• Care for patients undergoing bone marrow transplant, CAR-T therapy, and treatment for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
