American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for a 13-week night shift assignment at an acute inpatient psychiatric hospital, requiring restraint experience and an active PA or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute inpatient psychiatric hospital setting
• Treats adults through geriatric patients, with adolescent services opening in April
• Manages mental health, behavioral disorders, and substance abuse/addiction cases
• Staffing ratio of approximately 1:20 depending on acuity
• Uses Epic for documentation with paper charting for restraint episodes
• Medication management via Omnicell with onsite pharmacy open 24/7
• Night shift schedule, 8-hour shifts from 12a-8a
• Weekends and holidays assigned as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or compact license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of recent Behavioral Health/Psych experience required
• Experience with patient restraints required
