Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position requiring an active MA RN license and a passing tele/ECG and medication test on the first day.

Details

• Work in a small 12-bed Medical Management Unit (MMU)
• Care for medical-surgical telemetry patients who tend to be lower acuity
• Unit staffed with 3 nurses and 1 nursing assistant
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (must be in hand)
• Required certifications as specified for the specialty
• Must pass a mandatory tele/ECG and medication test on first day (pass/fail, failure may result in assignment termination)
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facilities for 6+ months (perm, per diem, or travel) to be considered

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to lower acuity medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Candidates must live within a 50-mile radius of the facility, and local candidates are not accepted for this role
• First-time travelers may be considered
