American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 12-bed unit on night shift, requiring an active MA RN license and telemetry experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Management Unit (MMU), a small 12-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Lower acuity patient population compared to other departments
• Unit staffed with 3 nurses and 1 nursing assistant
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 36 hours per week
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• Prior Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience required
• Must pass a Tele/ECG and medication test on first day of assignment (pass/fail, failure may result in termination)
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for 6+ months to be eligible (perm, per diem, or travel)

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to lower acuity Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not considered
