American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg-Tele RN for a fast-paced 10-bed admission unit requiring BLS, ACLS, and Level 1 trauma center experience.

Details

• 12-hour day shift schedule with 3 shifts per week
• 10-bed rapid admission unit serving general medical and pre-surgical patients
• Patient ratio of 5:1 for Med/Surg RN
• High patient turnover due to rapid admission unit setting
• No on-call requirements
• 4 weekend shifts per month expected
• Block scheduling generally not approved

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg-Tele specialty required
• Experience in high-acuity, high-volume, Level 1 trauma center environments required
• Proven experience managing complex, critical, and fast-paced trauma cases required
• Work history/resume must show no employment gaps greater than 60 days
• Skills checklist matching the specialty required
• Certification cards required for consideration
• Nursys license verification required
