American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care/Stepdown RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of cardiac and stepdown ICU experience.

Details

• Progressive Cardiac Care stepdown unit with 28 beds
• Patient population includes medical, cardiac, pre/post CV surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow cases
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification through AHA
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• FACIS Questionnaire required for any prior disciplinary actions

Additional Information

• Provide care to a stepdown/progressive cardiac patient population including post-surgical and heart failure cases
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
• Radius rule applies which may reduce pay rate for local candidates depending on distance from facility
• Candidates should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
