American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring telemetry background and NIH certification for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details

• Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• 13-week assignment length
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Telemetry background required (able to read tele)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be kept short (less than 1/4 inch)
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate under facility radius rule
• Radius mileage varies by facility location
• First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met
• Only one submission permitted per candidate system-wide within Ascension
• Candidates should discuss extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
