American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Telemetry RN with 2+ years of tele experience and NJ or compact licensure for a night shift assignment.

Details

• Cardiac Telemetry unit caring for both cardiac tele and step-down patients
• Patient ratios of 1:5-7 for cardiac tele patients and 1:4 for step-down patients when floated
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Floating required to step-down for candidates with step-down experience

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Experience with post cardiac catheterization groin management required
• Able to initiate and monitor cardizem, amiodarone, and primacor drips
• Able to read cardiac telemetry strips and hang cardiac drips
• COVID vaccine and booster required with no exemptions
