Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced NICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring recent acute care and specialty unit experience.

Details

• Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (2S NICU)
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• 6-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
• At least 2 years full-time experience in specialized units within the last 2 years
• Minimum of 2 completed travel assignments in the past 12 months working full time in an acute care setting
• Current EMR experience required
• Two clinical references required from the last two places of employment, covering the past year, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or Director
• References must include facility name, specialty, dates worked, supervisor name, bed count, trauma level, and travel/non-travel designation
• 7-year employment history required, including explanations for any employment gaps greater than 30 days
• Current skills checklist required (valid within the past year)

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal ICU patients
• Only one active submission to this facility allowed at a time
• Must reside 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel assignment eligibility
