American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiothoracic Stepdown position requiring extensive surgical and telemetry patient care experience.

Details

• Cardiothoracic Stepdown unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes post open heart, heart transplant, LVAD, leg bypass, rib resection, and pneumonectomy cases
• Day shift schedule from 07:00-19:30
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Extensive experience with surgical patient population and telemetry required
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide post-surgical cardiothoracic nursing care including monitoring of complex telemetry and surgical patients
• Radius rules apply and may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• Candidates should discuss assignment extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date
