American Traveler is hiring a Stepdown/Intermediate Care RN for a night shift assignment on a dedicated Stroke Unit requiring 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Stepdown Intermediate Care unit dedicated to stroke patients
• 30-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio
• Patient population includes medical, DKA, cardiac, GI, renal, sepsis, trauma, and surgical cases
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Current ACLS certification from AHA required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct care to stepdown/intermediate care patients on a dedicated stroke unit
• NIH Stroke Scale certification comments indicate Group A updated yearly and Group B-F updated every 2 years
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply that can affect pay rate depending on facility location
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
