American Traveler is hiring a Cardiothoracic Stepdown RN for a night shift assignment requiring extensive surgical and telemetry patient care experience.

Details

• Cardiothoracic Stepdown unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes post open heart, heart transplant, LVAD, leg bypass, rib resection, and pneumonectomy patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Extensive experience with surgical patient population and telemetry required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide post-surgical cardiothoracic and telemetry nursing care to a complex patient population
• Radius rule applies which may affect local candidate pay rate
• Longer contracts may be available for candidates with September start dates
