Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a fast-paced observation unit requiring at least 1 year of travel experience and a FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a fast-paced, 24-bed telemetry observation unit functioning as an extension of the Emergency Room
• Care for a short-stay population with conditions including hypertensive urgency, stroke work-ups, titratable cardiac drips, acute infections, cardiac work-ups, and ESRD
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 36-48 hour contracts acceptable
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required per unit need

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

• Deliver compassionate, clinically strong nursing care to a short-stay patient population
• Candidates should discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply and could affect pay rate
