American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a fast-paced Observation Unit position requiring 1 year of travel RN experience and prior telemetry/cardiac care background.

Details

• Work in a fast-paced, 24-bed telemetry Observation Unit serving as an extension of the Emergency Department
• Care for short-stay patients presenting with hypertensive urgency, stroke work-ups, titratable cardiac drips, acute infections, cardiac work-ups, and ESRD
• Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required per unit need
• 36-48 hour contracts acceptable

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Minimum 1 year of travel RN experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration

• Deliver clinically strong, compassionate care to a short-stay observation population
• Only one submission permitted per candidate system-wide within this health system
• Radius rule applies which may reduce pay rate for local candidates depending on distance from facility
• Candidates should discuss potential extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
