American Traveler is hiring a CVICU RN for a night shift position requiring Impella, IABP, and LVAD experience.

Details

• Cardiac ICU caring for both cardiac medical ICU patients and cardiac/thoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients
• 2:1 patient ratios including patients with devices such as Impella, IABP, LVAD, and NxStage
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required experience with Impella, IABP, and LVAD devices
• NxStage experience preferred
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing for both cardiac medical and cardiothoracic/vascular surgery ICU patients
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced rate under the radius rule
