American Traveler is seeking an RN for a PreOp position requiring a CA RN license and ambulatory surgery/phase II experience within the past 2 years.

Details

• Acute care hospital PreOp unit with 81 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Uses EPIC charting system
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Ambulatory surgery/phase II experience within the past 2 years required
• EPIC charting experience required
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required

Additional Information

• Perform assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care including direct patient care and patient/family education
• Deliver holistic and individualized care tailored to each patient
• Develop and manage interdisciplinary care plans addressing psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors
• Maintain collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers
• Navy blue scrubs required for RNs
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• Returning travelers must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible to return
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
• Holiday coverage includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
• Must complete lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
• 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
